- Every year Denver host the
worlds largest Rodeo, the National
Western Stock Show.
- Denver hosts major sports

- The Denver
Center for the Performing Arts is a showcase
for live theatre, a nurturing ground for new
plays and a preferred stop on the Broadway touring
circuit.
- The United
States Mint gives guided tours of coin production
and other exhibits.
- The Coors
Brewing Company is the largest single brewery
in the world and nestled in the foothills just
west of Denver in Golden. There are free tours
and beer samples (to those over 21).
- Fiddler's Green Amphitheater
is located in the south metro area and hosts
big-name performers from May through September.
- World famous Red
Rocks Amphitheater is a 9,000 seat amphitheater
set between spectacular 400-foot high red sandstone
rocks that features summer attractions featuring
rock artists to symphony orchestras.
- Six
Flags Elitch Gardens is an amusement park
located just west of downtown Denver. This $215
million world class park covers 67 acres and
features more than 25 rides and 80,000 square
feet of gardens.
- The Denver
Art Museum is a modernistic 28-sided, seven
story building covered with a million sparkling
tiles. It contains the world's leading collection
of American Indian art works among 35,000 art
objects.
- The Museum of Western Art
is located in a one-time gambling hall and brothel
located in downtown Denver. This premier museum
has more than 125 classic paintings and bronzes
by artists such as Remington, Russell, and O'Keefe.
- The Colorado State Museum
is a modern facility that showcases Colorado
and Western history. Dioramas trace the colorful
history of Colorado and the museum boasts a
fine Western resource library.
- The Denver
Museum of Natural History is one of the
greatest natural history museums in the world.
Exhibits include prehistoric creatures, Navajo
Indians, the Gates Planetarium and the IMAX
movie theater featuring images on a screen 4-1/2
stories tall and 6-1/2 stories wide.
- The Molly
Brown House Museum is an accurately restored
Victorian home with original family furnishings
and decorative art objects of the Unsinkable
Molly Brown, the heroine of the Titanic disaster.
- Colorado
Springs is located in the shadows of Pikes
Peak, and is home to the Garden
of the Gods, the ProRodeo
Hall of Fame, the United States Olympic
Training Center and the United
States Air Force Academy.
